The awards listed below are general scholarships for undergraduate nursing students. One application form is used for all scholarships.
Students who are applying to or continuing in the nursing major are eligible to apply for scholarships. Submitted applications will be considered for all School of Nursing scholarships as appropriate depending on some or all of the following: academic performance, leadership ability, personal qualifications, career interests, and financial need.
The application process for 2010- 2011 begins on December 15, 2009. To ensure consideration of your application, it must be received by March 1, 2010.
As part of the neonatal nutrition training program at Baylor College of Medicine, two three-month fellowship programs are offered. Two applicants are selected per session.

Undergraduate Student Scholars Program

Thank you for your interest in the Undergraduate Student Scholars Program in the NIH Center for Molecular Studies in Digestive and Liver Diseases at the University of Pennsylvania, an organized program of summer lectures and presentations combined with basic research experience in the laboratory of an expert investigator. This program is open to students from the University of Pennsylvania as well as outside of the university, and the curriculum is designed specifically for undergraduate students with an interest in biomedical research, with the eventual goal of MD, PhD, or MD-PhD degrees. The Children’s Hospital Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship is one of first continuously ACGME-accredited fellowship programs in the country and accepts 6 applicants per year. Rita Agarwal, MD is the Fellowship Director and Scott Markowitz, MD is the Assistant Fellowship Director. The University of Colorado Anesthesiology Residency is the affiliated core program. Fellows are required to spend one month of the twelve month program in the PICU and one month on the Acute and Chronic Pain Service rotation. Regional anesthesia experience is a well regarded and growing aspect of our program. Electives are available in Cardiology, NICU, PICU, Anesthesia in Remote Sites and Chronic Pain.
